Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC mechanics to support commercial service in North America. The role covers light and heavy commercial work, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs with compressors, chillers, and ammonia systems.

Travel may be required; certification and safety training are emphasized. You will install, service, and troubleshoot complete HVAC systems, interact with customers to propose quotes, and participate in ongoing technical training through our STA program.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience troubleshooting commercial HVACR systems.
• Experience with centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, chillers, and ammonia systems.
• EPA refrigerant licensing and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial HVACR systems.
• Install complete systems including chillers and rooftop units.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to customers; support service contracts.
• Write clear problem statements and corrective actions for customers.
