Alameda County Health’s Behavioral Health Department seeks a Forensic Behavioral Health Clinician II to deliver clinical services within the jail system. You will perform mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, and forensics-informed case management, guiding treatment planning for individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring conditions.

Licensed professionals with a master’s degree and post-license experience are preferred, and you may work varied shifts, including weekends,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, nursing, or related field.
• Valid clinical license from applicable authority (BBS, Psychology, or RN).
• Six months post-license experience in behavioral health/mental health clinical or case management.

Responsabilités

• Provide mental health clinical and forensically focused case management services in a jail setting.
• Perform mental health evaluations, DSM-V related diagnoses, and risk assessments.
• Conduct crisis intervention, stakeholder consultation, and discharge planning.
