Job summary

Amador County seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician II to provide intake, assessment, treatment planning and psychotherapy for adults, children and families. The role includes 24/7 crisis response and coordination with a multidisciplinary team in clinic, home, and school settings.

The position requires a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, counseling or related field and California licensure eligibility. Supervision of students and collaboration with community resources are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in California (AMFT/ACSW/LPCC/LMFT/LCSW as applicable).
• Experience with crisis intervention and coordinating care in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral health services to a varied caseload in clinics, homes, schools and community settings.
• Conduct intake/assessment, develop service plans, and provide psychotherapy with individuals, groups and families.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, supervisors and program managers to meet consumer needs.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and community outreach; may supervise students/trainees.
