Job summary

Life tech Inc in Manchester Township, NJ is seeking a Journeyman Mechanic (B Tech) to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. You will work independently or with others, applying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge to ensure safe operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of hands-on automotive or diesel experience, and a Journeyman certification or apprenticeship. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on automotive or diesel experience.
• Journeyman certification or apprenticeship required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and brake inspections.
• Ensure safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Document maintenance, parts used, and hours worked.
• Collaborate with other technicians and mentor apprentices.
