Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. – Construction & Forestry Division in Kent, WA is seeking a Journeyman Field Technician to diagnose and repair heavy diesel equipment at customer locations.

You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle and work with customers to ensure uptime and performance. The role requires 5+ years of experience, valid driver's license, ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment across brands.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; Class B CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy diesel equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations in a fully equipped service vehicle.
• Ensure equipment uptime and peak performance through quality workmanship.
• Interact with customers and communicate progress and findings clearly.
