Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician/Mechanic in Kent, WA to service construction and forestry equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to maximize uptime, traveling to locations in a fully equipped service vehicle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy diesel repair experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Must provide your own tools and embrace training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure peak performance and uptime.
• Travel in a fully loaded service vehicle and perform high-quality repairs.
• Interact with customers and ensure they can count on timely, effective service.
