Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to operate power construction equipment for excavation, road work, and grading. You will load, haul, and spread materials on diverse terrains while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires the ability to follow instructions, perform maintenance, and train crew members in safe operation. Outdoor work, overtime, and heights may be involved, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions to management/supervision.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand, power, layout, and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment while performing road maintenance and repairs.
• Load, haul, and grade materials on various surfaces.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts or pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Check and maintain fluid levels and lubrication of equipment.
