Job summary

City of Pasadena seeks an experienced Journeyman Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems at wastewater facilities, including plants and lift stations. You will troubleshoot, install, and manage conduit, wiring, and switchgear while documenting work in CMMS.

The role requires leadership when assigned and availability for on-call rotations, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with strict adherence to safety regulations and city policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required at time of hire.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment at wastewater facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Install, modify, and repair electrical systems including conduit, wiring, and components.
• Lead and guide Utility Maintenance Workers when assigned.
