Finch Electrical Heating & Air is seeking an Experienced Journeyman Electrician to deliver top-tier residential electrical solutions and on-site sales to homeowners in the Twin Cities area. You will diagnose issues, present upgrade options, and perform installations while upholding high craftsmanship and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Electrical Journeyman license.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential electrical service experience.
• Experience with residential sales and presenting value-based options.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and safe work practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Diagnose complex residential electrical issues and present multiple repair or upgrade options clearly to homeowners.
• Perform expert electrical installations, panel upgrades, wiring repairs, and routine maintenance in residential settings.
• Communicate transparently with clients, explaining technical details, answering questions, and addressing concerns to build long-term trust.
• Address customer objections effectively and close on-site sales by delivering clear pricing and real value.
• Execute precise electrical work in full compliance with current National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines and local standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including materials used, time spent, and service records.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active Minnesota Electrical Journey worker License.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience performing residential electrical service, diagnostics, and installations.
• Demonstrated experience with residential sales, presenting clear options, and delivering value-based solutions.
• Strong functional proficiency with hand and power tools along with deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proven ability to build rapport with homeowners, handle objections on-site, and successfully present service options.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and comfortably perform physically demanding tasks in confined or elevated spaces.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven collaborative skills and a dedication to maintaining continuous learning within the electrical trade.
