Job Description

AMTS is hiring licensed electricians with experience in industrial environments, specifically in semiconductor fabrication. Candidates must have a Journeyman Electrician license, inspection experience, and strong knowledge of NEC and safety codes. The role involves troubleshooting electrical/control systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing and repairing electrical equipment in semiconductor fabs
• Installing raceway and cable tray systems
• Troubleshooting motor and control systems
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
• Adhering to all quality and safety codes
• Tracking hours and assessing earned value; coordinating pre-facility readiness checklists
• Resolving technical construction questions in the field
• Communicating effectively with trades, designers, and tool owners; understanding tool drawing sets to solve field issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an electrical journeyman license, ability to obtain within 6 months
• Experience in startup & commissioning of equipment, systems, generators, and switchgear
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Disciplined with leadership qualities, able to complete tasks on schedule
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work across disciplines and with contractors
• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and industrial installation practices
• Ability to manage multiple inspections and understand scheduling priorities

This position is local; no per diem offered.
