Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking skilled electricians to lead and perform installations of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in North Carolina and surrounding states. You will troubleshoot, bend conduit, interpret blueprints, and adhere to lockout/tagout and NEC standards.

The role requires working at heights, using lifts, and mentoring helpers, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship in a team environment.

Qualifications

Ability to lead and perform installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems.
Follows OSHA safety requirements and lock out tag out procedures.
Reads and interprets electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Reports to assigned job site location on time, as directed.
Maintains and properly stores tools, materials, and equipment.
Plans, schedules, and organizes tasks to meet deadlines.
Interprets electrical construction drawings, terminates cables, installs, and troubleshoots control wiring.
Completes routine safety inspections and training of Helpers and Apprentices.
Safely performs assigned tasks with limited supervision.
