Qualifications

• Reports to assigned job site; leads and performs installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems.
• Reads electrical diagrams and blueprints; adheres to NEC, state and local codes.
• Maintains safety practices, OSHA requirements, and uses PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned job site location on time, as directed
• Maintains and properly stores tools, materials, and equipment
• Organizes materials and tools to maintain clean and neat work area
• Plays role in dig trenches as necessary
• Mounts and installs hardware such as conduit, wires, and strapping as directed
• Identifies colors of wires and conductors
• Plans and organizes tasks to meet deadlines
• Interprets electrical construction drawings and terminates cables
• Directs and trains Helpers and Apprentices in proper work practices
• Safely performs tasks with limited supervision
