Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking skilled electricians to lead installations, alterations, additions, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

You will troubleshoot proactively, install conduit and switchgear, and work from schematics while adhering to NEC, state, and local codes. Candidates should have an accredited apprenticeship or six years of experience and possess a journeyman license as required for respective projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Accredited Apprenticeship Program completion or six years on-the-job electrical experience required.
• Journeyman License required in relevant states/locales/projects as required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, ladder logic diagrams and visualize completed work.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned job site location on time.
• Maintains and properly stores tools, materials, and equipment.
• Organizes materials and tools to maintain a clean work area.
• Performs wire pulls and installs conduit, cables, and hardware as directed.
• Interprets electrical construction drawings, terminates cables, and troubleshoots control wiring from schematics.
• Completes routine safety inspections and trains Helpers and Apprentices in proper practices.
