Job summary

DP Electric, a premier commercial electrical contractor, seeks a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on Texas-based projects. You will read prints, bend conduit, and deliver code-compliant work on time, solo or with a crew.

This field-based role requires a licensed tradesperson who values safety, quality, and mentorship, with growth toward field leadership at DP Electric.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Texas Journeyman Electrician (TDLR) in good standing, active and current.
• 4 years of experience in commercial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems on commercial/industrial projects in Texas.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to execute installations.
• Ensure NEC compliance and pass inspections.
• Train and mentor apprentices and coordinate with other trades.
