Job summary

DP Electric is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects across Arizona. Read prints, bend conduit, make terminations, and deliver NEC-compliant work whether solo or with a crew.

This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to mentor apprentices. Arizona experience is preferred; state license is not required.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in commercial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Journeyman-level electrical knowledge and field experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Arizona does not require an individual state electrician license for this role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, crawl, work at heights, and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects across Arizona.
• Read prints, bend conduit, and make terminations to NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and read blueprints/schematics.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors to keep projects on schedule.
• Train and mentor apprentices and maintain records of work and materials.
