Job summary

DP Electric is seeking Apprentice Electricians to join our Texas field teams. You will work alongside journeyman electricians on active commercial and industrial sites, building hands-on skills in a multi-level apprenticeship path from Apprentice I to IV.

You may pursue the DP University apprenticeship, though it is not required. As an apprentice, you’ll learn to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems while prioritizing safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician license in good standing.
• Enrollment in a certified electrical apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe work site.
• Coordinate with other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain records of work performed and tools used.

Education
