DP Electric in Texas offers a four-level Apprentice program on active commercial and industrial sites. You start by assisting journeymen and advance as you gain skills, under DP University guidance when available.

This field-based role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and independence. You’ll work on wiring, conduit, blueprints, and coordinating with other trades across our Texas projects, with growth opportunities through DP University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Texas Apprentice Electrician license in good standing.
• Enrollment in or willingness to join a certified electrical apprenticeship program.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Prior commercial electrical experience for Apprentice II and above; Apprentice I is entry-level.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC).
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams under supervision.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose solutions.
• Follow safety regulations and conduct inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Coordinate with other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Participate in training and mentorship to grow skills.
