IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for full-time work in Auburn, Alabama. The role requires supervising crew members and interpreting blueprints while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial electrical field experience, a current Journeyman license, OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain), and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities as directed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Travel may be required.
