Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician in Auburn, Alabama. The role involves supervising and coordinating activities of craft workers on commercial projects and interpreting blueprints and job orders.

You will ensure safety, inspect work quality, and resolve issues while travelling may be required. A state Journeyman license and OSHA-10 are required or obtainable; 5+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities as directed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Travels as required.
