TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled construction equipment operator to support road maintenance and heavy equipment operations. You will load materials, grade and shape surfaces, inspect equipment, follow safety rules, and cooperate with crew to meet project timelines on site in Kentucky.

Strong communication and reliability are essential. Applicants should be able to perform routine maintenance, work outdoors in varying weather, and be capable of lifting tools and climbing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and communicate with management.

Responsabilités

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment for road maintenance and rights-of-way tasks.
• Load materials, grade roads, and spread rock and gravel.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts and pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Maintain fluid levels and lubrication; inspect equipment.
• Instruct/train others in safe operation and job techniques.
• Inspect equipment and materials to identify defects and causes of errors.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities to plan work activities.
• Review subordinate work for contract compliance and correct deficiencies.
