The Industrial Company (TIC) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to excavate, move and grade material on road projects. You will operate assorted power construction equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety standards on rights‑of‑way.

Responsibilities include loading and grading tasks, trenching for culverts, and assisting with on‑site repairs while training others in safe operation. Outdoor work in all weather is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment while performing maintenance on roads and rights-of-way.
• Load gravel, dirt and sand; smooth and grade roads; spread rock and gravel.
• Trench and construct dashes for culverts, water pipes and sewer pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Check and maintain all fluid levels and lubrication on equipment.
• Instruct and train employees in safe operation of construction equipment and tools.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify defects.
