Job summary

PCI Federal is seeking a data analytics professional to support DoD and private sector customers from Huntsville, AL. The role emphasizes statistics analysis, reporting, and data visualization using Power Query, Power BI, and SQL-based tools.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or information management, possess a Secret clearance, and have 4+ years’ experience with relational databases, HTML/ASP/Visual Basic, and data visualization best practices.

Qualifications

• Located in Huntsville, AL and reporting on-site at Redstone Arsenal.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or information management and 4+ years in data analytics.
• Experience with Power Query and Power BI; Army Vantage or Palantir preferred.
• Proficient in extracting data from relational databases using query tools; data visuals for presentation.
• Proficient in creating data visualizations, data cleaning and preparation.
• Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, and Microsoft Access.
• Experience with HTML, ASP, and Visual Basic.
• Able to produce finished reports with analysis, graphics, and recommendations.
• Excellent data analysis skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze statistics and trends.
• Uses various query software tools to produce finished reports, statistics, and/or graphic information reflective of the subject matter.
• Analyze and evaluate data extracted for the purposes of quality assurance, quality control, and data integrity.
• Prepare procedures manuals, user guides, and technical documentation, to include but not limited to, report development documentation.
• Prepare written analyses and recommendations.
• Develop new reporting tools, views, and interfaces.
• Train users in new applications, reporting tools or system features.
• Maintain daily work reports.

Qualifications

• This position requires employees to be located in the Huntsville, AL area in order to report to work on-site at Redstone Arsenal.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or information management, and 4 years of progressively more responsible experience in a professional analytical occupation working with relational databases for the purposes of data extraction.
• Have experience with Power Query and Power BI. Experience with Army Vantage or Palantir preferred.
• Be proficient in extracting data from relational databases using various query software tools, graphic displays for data presentation, database tools, and spreadsheet software.
• Be proficient in creating data visualizations, data cleaning and preparation.
• Be p roficient and experienced using SQL, T-SQL, and Microsoft Access.
• Experience using HTML, ASP, and Visual Basic.
• Able to produce finished reports containing analysis, graphics, and recommendations.
• Have excellent data analysis skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Have excellent written and effective oral communication skills.
