Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join the on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, conduct continuous monitoring, and perform system testing to secure DoD systems.

Role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, DoD cybersecurity policy expertise, and experience with STIGs, ACAS, and risk assessments. A Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity is preferred; CASP/ CISSP/ Security+ are valued.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience, or five years of general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or III certification for ISSO/ISSE roles.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and DoD 8500.2 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Authorization artifacts.
• Document system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word/Excel/Visio.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments and vulnerability tests (ACAS).
• Lead ISSO duties for specified information systems and ensure compliance.
