Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman in setting up work as required.
• Follow instructions from superintendents, foreman, and experienced crew.
• Prioritize safety and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Read and understand warning signs, operating instructions, and jobsite safety rules.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment to determine hazards.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs, resources, or materials for work activities.
• Inspect subordinate’s work for compliance and deficiencies.
