TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled tradesperson to lay out and install forms for concrete structures. The role involves reading plans, erecting scaffolding, and installing rebar, embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with project specs.

You'll work with hand and power tools on-site, often at heights or in confined spaces, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications and visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
• Follow written and oral instructions; communicate with management/supervision effectively.
• Proficient with electrical, hand, power and layout tools plus measurement tools.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications and visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct built-in-place or prefabricated forms.
• Erect built-in-place forms or assemble and install prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions; brace forms in place.
• Pour concrete into finished forms, finish concrete surfaces to specifications and install all other items per plans/specs.
• Estimate sizes, distances, and quantities; determine time, costs, resources or materials for a work activity.
• Inspect subordinate's work for contract compliance and take corrective action as needed.
