Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior field experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand and power tools as well as layout/measuring tools.

Aufgaben

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications; visualize objects in 3D from plans.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; build in-place or prefabricated forms as specified.
• Erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions; brace forms.
• Pour concrete and finish surfaces per specifications; install related items per plans and specs.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and time, costs, resources, or materials for activities.
• Inspect subcontractors' work for contract compliance and take corrective action.
