Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced tradesperson for formwork and concrete installation in Jewett, Texas. You will read prints, lay out forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures, and work on scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.

The role requires physical work on construction sites, ability to follow specifications, and adherence to safety standards. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets prints, drawings, plans and specs to visualize objects in 3D.
• Communicates effectively with management and supervision.
• Follows safety procedures and uses tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specs to visualize 3D objects.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts per specifications.
• Erect built-in-place forms or assemble prefabricated forms; brace forms in place and maintain dimensions.
• Pour concrete and finish surfaces according to plans and specs; install other items per requirements.
