Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Welder-Combination to join our team in the United States. The role involves welding metal parts per layouts, blueprints, and procedures, using heat, electric arc, and other welding methods to join components and prepare items for assembly.

Responsibilities include welding, torch-cutting, grinding, and assisting with lifting operations. Applicants must have 4 years journeyman experience, a Weld Test, a valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• Education: – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience: – 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• Certifications/Licenses: A Weld Test, a Valid Driver’s License, and a TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot welding gun or hand, electric, or gas welding equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas and operate valves.
• Preheat work pieces and prepare welds for bending or shaping with torches.
• Inspect finished welds and check dimensions against specifications with measurement tools.
• Assist with crane signaling and hoisting of heavy pieces as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and operate within site rules and equipment guidelines.
