Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. in Kingston, GA is seeking a Carpenter for the West Bartow Water Reclamation Facility. The carpenter constructs, erects and installs wooden structures using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines for commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures to form bridges, walls and other structures.
• Assists with installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs as needed.
• Uses carpenter’s belt with hand and power tools and woodworking machinery.
