Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Pipefitter for the Archer Western Construction team at the West Bartow Reclamation Facility in Kingston, GA.

The Pipefitter will assemble, install and replace piping systems, including metal, plastic and ceramic components, install plumbing fixtures and provide support to other pipefitters on site. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass pre-employment drug screening. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires ability to comply with safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
