The Walsh Group, Ltd. is currently seeking a Carpenter for the West Bartow Water Reclamation Facility in Kingston, GA. The successful candidate will measure, cut, and install wooden structures for heavy civil projects and support bridge and wall builds on site.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable carpentry experience preferred.
• Able to climb and balance on scaffolding/ladder.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; may endure adverse weather conditions.
• Follow safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Measures distance and marks guidelines on working surface to prepare for laying down work.
• Prepares, builds, and installs wooden structures in line with prefabricated units.
• May assist with installation of awnings, metal decking for concrete slabs.
• Uses carpenter’s belt with carpentry hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
