Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking a journeyman-level Boilermaker for our Iva, SC project site. The role requires 4+ years of heavy industrial boiler-related experience, welding, fabrication, and stress relieving, along with reading boiler drawings and detail sheets.

The candidate will perform oxyfuel cutting, valve and gasket work, and install hangers, supports, and pipe fittings. Strong teamwork, math skills, and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Boilermaker.
• Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Rigging – safely identify and use basic and special rigging procedures and equipment including chain hoists, come-a longs, jacks, and tuggers. Proficient in use of hand signals.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Boiler making tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Oxyfuel cutting – perform straight line, square shapes, piercing, bevels.
• Identify/install valves and gaskets; interpret markings and nameplates.
• Identify and install hangers and supports; interpret drawings and symbols; determine placement.
• Socket weld and butt weld pipe fabrication; determine lengths between fittings and supports.
• Advanced tube work – identify problematic tubes, extract, roll and plug.
