Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of concrete finishing experience; carpentry experience preferred.
• Prior experience finishing slipformed concrete barrier.
• Ability to finish faces and tops, repair surface defects, and maintain the required barrier profile.
• Ability to work safely alongside a moving slipform operation and keep pace with production.
• Experience placing and finishing concrete on highway, roadway, or other heavy civil construction projects.
• Skilled in concrete paving and finishing work, including bridge decks, roadway slabs, flatwork, or concrete barriers.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing tools and equipment, and the ability to coordinate work with paving, form-setting, and labor crews.
• Ability to read and follow project plans, elevations, and grade information for concrete placement and finishing.
