Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Concrete Finisher Journeyman for the Southeast Connector Project in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires coordinating with paving, form-setting, and labor crews to place and finish concrete for roadways, bridges, and barriers on a major heavy civil project.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of concrete finishing experience, prefer carpentry background, and must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of concrete finishing experience; carpentry experience preferred.
• Experience placing and finishing concrete on highway, roadway, or other heavy civil construction projects.
• Skilled in concrete paving and finishing work, including bridge decks, roadway slabs, flatwork, or concrete barriers.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing tools and equipment, and the ability to coordinate work with paving, form-setting, and labor crews.
• Ability to read and follow project plans, elevations, and grade information for concrete placement and finishing.
