Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. seeks a reliable Journeyman Mechanic to join our Sacramento hub fleet maintenance team. The technician will maintain and repair a range of vehicles, including delivery vans, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Expect to diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems, while adhering to DOT standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate has Journeyman experience, can operate diagnostic tools and PC software, and is flexible to work

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Mechanic experience is required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and PC software.
• Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles including delivery vans, tractors, and trailers.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems and engine controls.
• Adhere to safety protocols, DOT requirements, and use of PPE.
