Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to factory standards. This role focuses on delivering reliable service and building customer trust through quality workmanship.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ journeyman experience, be process-driven, and able to explain findings to non‑mechanical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter with a process-driven mindset.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by policy.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non‑mechanical colleagues and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
