Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. The successful candidate will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems and perform maintenance per dealer and factory standards.

The role emphasizes accurate communication of repairs to customers and colleagues, ongoing professional training, and maintaining an organized service bay in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay
