Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist for Joint Replacement to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide. You will build clinical and technical expertise across robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual procedures, and assist surgeons with planning, setup, and real-time workflows in the operating room.

Expect on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays as patient needs arise. You will gain hands-on experience with Mako planning, implant sizing, and intra-operative support while

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; alternative paths include Associate degree with 4 years of related work, or a high school diploma with 6 years of related experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Gain solo case coverage competency for manual and robotic procedures through hands-on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using advanced software.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support daily account coordination, inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners to ensure seamless execution and unified customer experience.
