Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, focusing on both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual procedures. You’ll assist in pre-operative planning, system setup, and real-time workflows, while gaining hands-on experience with Mako CT-based planning and intra-operative support.

You will be on-call after hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure uninterrupted patient care and timely responses for urgent cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Associate degree with 4+ years of related experience acceptable.
• High school diploma with 6+ years of related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room confidently.
• Learn and support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management and logistics.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, education programs, and training events.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates, and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners to ensure seamless execution and customer experience.
• Complete required trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education
