Job summary

Geo Owl seeks a Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialist to support operations in El Paso, TX. This full-time CONUS role requires an active Secret clearance and operates on a 24/7 watch floor to monitor, coordinate, and report for senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities include integrating intelligence, maintaining situational awareness, producing FRAGOs and reports, and ensuring secure data handling across NIPRnet/SIPRnet as part of a dynamic mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience within a military setting for the listed duties.
• Experience managing multiple operations-related tasks in a Joint Operations Center.
• Experience preparing intelligence reports, operational summaries, or command briefings.
• Working knowledge of Intelligence Community directives and intelligence tradecraft.
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance.

• Monitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico.
• Maintain records of RFIs and produce reports for decision-makers.
• Maintain metrics databases tracking missions and operational summaries.
• Produce official messages and FRAGOs for command.

We are currently seeking aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialistto support operations inEl Paso, TX.This position is contingent on contractaward, with an expected start dateof October 1, 2026.This is afull-time, CONUSposition requiring an active Secret Level clearance.As aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialistyou willsupport a high-priority Special Operations and Joint Interagency mission in El Paso, Texas. This position serves as a critical member of the operationswatchfloor,maintainingsituational awareness, integrating intelligence, coordinating operational activities, and supporting command decision-making in a dynamic, 24/7 mission environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico

• Proficient with Maven Smart System.

• Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate, higher, and adjacent organizations.

• Obtains information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational informationtomakeappropriate assessmentsto pass to theappropriate decisionmaker.

• Maintain metrics databases that track various missions, operational summaries, and other valuable Command updates.

• Monitors ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.

• Both in writing and verbally provide reports to command and higher headquarters asrequiredto provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.

• Maintains and secure data on bothNIPRnetandSIPRnetandensurecompliance with policies on levels of classification.

• Production of official messages, requirements, and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).

• Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager integrating all operational command systems.

Education Requirements

• Associatedegreefrom an accredited college or university.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experienceand capabilities within a military settingfor the successful execution of tasks associated withspecificduty position/focus area.

• Experience in managing a multitude of operations related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.

• Experience preparing intelligence reports, operational summaries, or command briefings.

• Working knowledge of Intelligence Community directives, intelligence reporting standards, and intelligence tradecraft.

• Must have a current and activeDoWSECRETsecurity clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will receive elevated consideration:

• Experience supporting USSOCOM, USNORTHCOM, Joint Task Forces, Special Mission Units (SMUs), or Joint Interagency organizations.

• Experience as a Joint Operations Center Watch Officer, Operations Specialist, ISR Tactical Controller, Intelligence Watch Officer, or Command Center operator.

• Familiarity with Maven Smart System and other ISR exploitation tools.

• ExperienceutilizingOpen-Source Intelligence (OSINT) platforms and classified intelligence systems.

• ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) Certification or equivalent operational ISR experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior military leadership.

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, supporting 24/7 operations.

Travel Requirements

Up to10%travelfor Temporary Duty (TDY) by motor vehicle and/or air travelmay berequired; some overnight stayspossible.Must have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
