Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic (Rubenstein Building/ Harriet Lane Clinic). You will provide age-appropriate care to both well and ill patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will educate patients and families and intervene in acute or chronic illness within the unit’s guidelines and the NP-Physician Written Agreement approved by Maryland.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Maryland
• Two years of related clinical nursing experience
• Active BLS certification

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and provides comprehensive and age-appropriate care to both well and/or ill patients.
• The Nurse Practitioner educates patients and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness.
• Practices within the guidelines of the unit department and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner- Physician Written Agreement required and approved by the State of Maryland.
