Job summary

C & B Operations, LLC is seeking a Service Technician for our Lake Park, Iowa location to diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment. You will work on John Deere and related machines, perform diagnostics, and ensure work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Diesel Technology or related field.
• Ability to meet physical demands and exertion.
• Team environment mindset.
• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines, and equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills.
• Completes job notes and records time and materials used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area and tools.
• Promotes service department to customers and sells service work.
• Follows safety procedures and works safely.
• Assists with additional duties as assigned.

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician for our location in Lake Park, Iowa. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
