Job summary

C & B Operations, LLC has grown into 38 John Deere dealerships across six states and is hiring a Service Tech in Tracy, Minnesota. You will diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment; participate in training; and document all work with notes and time entries.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands (sitting, standing, lifting, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs for skills development.
• Completes all job notes with work assignments.
• Accounts for time on a digital timecard and material used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Promotes and sells service dept to customers (service work, inspections, parts).
• Follows safety procedures and works safely.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a Service Tech in Tracy, Minnesota. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
