Key Responsibilities
  1. Logistics & Material Handling: Move, sort, stage, and stack raw materials, tools, and equipment to and from storage areas, production areas, and delivery vehicles. Pull orders from inventory and deliver materials to work centers or jobsite locations as required. Maintain in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials and supplies for crews. Locate materials listed on production orders and verify quantities and accuracy.
  2. Receiving & Shipping: Inspect and document incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or quality concerns. Prepare outgoing materials for transport by securing, padding, crating, or packaging items appropriately. Locate, stage, and pack materials for shipping to internal or external destinations. Receive credit‑return materials and verify returned quantities and items against production documentation.
  3. Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying, labeling, and tracking materials and supplies. Record inventory locations, movements, and quantities using data entry tools or inventory management systems. Report inventory shortages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly. Open containers, sort, and catalog materials for storage or production use.
  4. Site Maintenance: Keep storage yards, warehouses, and equipment areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist in maintaining equipment used for material movement (carts, lifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  5. Compliance & Safety: Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Wear appropriate PPE at all times on the jobsite or in the warehouse. Prevent unsafe conditions by promptly reporting hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe practices.
Required Skills & Abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze inventory information and production orders.
