Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology in New York is seeking a Material Handler to ensure smooth flow of materials on the shop floor, loading, unloading, and staging components for production.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of material handling experience, ability to operate a forklift and RF scanning, and legal work eligibility in the United States. First shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and RF scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow 5S methodology to keep a clean, organized work area.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Track and manage inventory, ensure proper storage and accessibility.
• Deliver and stage components to the production line.
• Operate RF scanning for inventory transactions.
• Inspect materials for defects and report issues to supervisors.
