Job summary

Engineering Specialists, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler for a full-time, first-shift role in Wisconsin. You will support shop team members with receiving, shipping, and material handling tasks and contribute to smooth daily operations.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook. Prior shipping/receiving experience and familiarity with hand/power tools are preferred. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid driver’s license with ability to travel to other work locations.
• Demonstrate computer literacy, to include use of Microsoft Outlook.
• Preferred: previous work experience in shipping or receiving areas.
• Preferred: previous experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping or bracing to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Organizes and stores received inventory in appropriate areas.
• Delivers materials to the proper inventory location, department, or personnel.
• Selects materials from inventory to prepare kits by project, ensuring kit is complete and contains correct materials.
• Assembles crates to be used for shipping and compress cardboard for recycling purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Full Time Material Handler. 1st shift available, Monday - Friday.

As a Material Handler, you will contribute to the success of our organization by assisting shop team members with a variety of tasks including receiving, shipping, and material handling.

On a daily basis, as a Material Handler, you will...

Minimum Requirements:

Material Handler Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work environment is light industrial, with exposure to a moderate level of noise. Sitting, standing, and bending at waist for up to 3 consecutive hours at time. May need to climb ladders, and reach above shoulder height for extended periods of time. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to move freely between aisles of parts, equipment, shelving units. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to carry or lift at least 50 pounds.
