Job summary

Romex Pest Control is seeking a Territory Service Technician to provide exterior pest control services and build lasting relationships with customers in the Austin area. You will work outdoors, travel on a daily route, and perform safety-conscious service visits.

We offer base pay from $21.63 to $26.44 per hour, plus commissions averaging around $50,000, with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills are required.
• Customer-focused and self-motivated individuals thrive in this role.
• Attention to detail is essential for accurate documentation.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with customers and communicate the service rendered.
• Work outdoors in heat and cold.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Maintain and take care of the work vehicle.
• Enter data and document services on mobile devices.
• Work Monday through Friday with one Saturday per month.
• Service 13–15 homes per day.

Responsibilities

We're seeking a Territory Service Technician that can provide excellent service, as well as form positive relationships with customers in the area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Regular interaction with customers and communicate the service rendered
• Be able to work outdoors (in heat and cold)
• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Maintain and take care of work truck
• Data Entry & Documentation into mobile devises for services
• Work Monday through Friday with one Saturday a month
• Service 13 to 15 homes per day

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six (6) months of customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer-focused and self-motivated
• Attention to Detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Great customer service skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 or over

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations

• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• You must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics
• You must be comfortable using and moving a ladder
• This position will require you to work outside, in all types of weather
