Job summary

Baker County Library District seeks an Information Technology (IT) Systems Manager to oversee its technology infrastructure, ensuring secure, innovative, and reliable IT services for staff and patrons. This leadership role enhances library operations through strategic technology management.

Office-based with occasional travel; remote location work negotiable. Salary ranges from $32.31 to $39.27 per hour, with medical/dental benefits and Oregon PERS retirement. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Informatics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 2-5 years of experience in network/system administration.
• Preferred: Network+ and Security+ certifications.
• Strong skills in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, troubleshooting, technical support, and leadership.
• Special Requirements: Successful criminal background check, valid driver's license, and ability to travel for work-related duties.
