Job summary

Turning Point of Central California, Inc. in Fresno, CA seeks a Job Developer to assist clients with employment development services and readiness training, reporting to the Program Director.

This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree or a qualifying diploma with experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus. You will partner with local employers and agencies to create opportunities and support reentry efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent with experience in job development or related field.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and presentation tools.
• AOD license/certification preferred or eligible to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for field work.
• Ability to learn ARMS and pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Fresno employers and programs to create job opportunities.
• Refer residents to employers, training and educational facilities.
• Provide job readiness training, résumé prep, interviewing skills, and job search.
• Assess individuals for education and employment readiness.
• Develop individual employment plans (IEP).
• Provide ongoing employment support and document services.
