Job summary

West Oakland Job Resource Center is seeking a Job Developer to recruit clients, conduct trainings, and assist clients in securing employment in Construction, Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics. Manage a caseload of 40–60 clients per year, coordinate with WOJRC and partner agencies, and build relationships with employers and community partners.

Occasional travel and evening/weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client outreach and recruitment activities.
• Develop partnerships with regional employers.
• Maintain active knowledge of Construction and Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Industries.
• Facilitate client orientations.
• Perform client intake and assessment.
• Conduct/participate in Job Readiness Trainings.
• Provide client follow-up and retention services.
• Perform job development, job referral, and job placement services.
• Data entry on a daily basis.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual client progress reports.
